Brooklyn-based beatmaker Pursuit Grooves has a penchant for stretching her studio equipment further than recommended. She takes her inspiration in equal parts from hip hop and broken beats, as well as soul and left field pop music. A mean DJ who's always ready to take the party deep, Pursuit Grooves has already featured on the Dutch Beat Dimensions compilation, released one album on her own What Rules label, and has been putting the finishing touches to her second LP. Her search for the perfect beat never ends.
