Tunng formed in 2003 when producer Mike Lindsay got together with singer songwriter Sam Genders and start recording music in a Soho basement underneath a clothes shop. Their fusion of folky melodies and quirky electronics was later enhance by the addition of singer Becky Jacobs and as their recording career progressed, so did their live show which has gone from strngth to strength and taken them all around Europe and America. Tunng are currently in the studio working on their fourth long player, (their third for Full Time Hobby) and busily preparing for a collaborative tour around the UK with Saharan band Tinarawen. Becky and Mike took a well earned studio break to come and talk to us about some of their favourite songs and this Headphone Highlights packs a couple of guitar solos and few surprises!
