Marc Codsi alias Lumi is one of Beirut’s creative young artisans, a collection of musicians, artists, filmmakers and DJs shaking the place to its foundations in all the right ways. His band, Scrambled Eggs, stand comparison to Sonic Youth, Sigur Ros, Bloc Party and the Liars and their list of influences has been described as “no wave, post rock, punk, pop trash and bombs in the sky.” With two albums, European tours and an award-winning film score to their name, Marc also steps out in spin-off group Lumi and makes lush, Lynchian ambience in solo project Happy Melody. The beat goes on in Lebanon.
