Kris Jones started out in the music industry working for legendary vinyl distributor Record Corner selling American imports into the key London record shops. One of his customers was the store owned by Soul Jazz Records, known nowadays as Sounds of The Universe. Kris soon became a key member of staff at Sounds of the Universe and began to DJ worldwde as part of the Soul Jazz Soundsystem. Whilst working in the shop, Kris also began to assist in A&Ring duties for the record label and was responsible for the critically acclaimed 'Box of Dub' compilations as well as a string of 12”s by artist such as Kode9, Digital Mystikz, Soul223 (Stasis), Skream, Cotti & Cluekid, The Bug and more. Kris continues to spin with the Soul Jazz sound-system and we are thrilled with this incredible Electro special.
