Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve, London
Richard Norris has been a major player in Dance music for many years finding fame in the 90s as The Grid, he is more recently known as one half of Beyond the Wizards Sleeve with Erol Alkan. More recently he launched the psych inspired Time and Space Machine project in which psychedelic samples are chopped and spliced not only musically but visually, as part of an arresting live show. Not content with making incredible music, Richard also recently wrote the official biography of Dance legend Paul Oakenfold which was published earlier this year. Richards frame of musical reference is unsurprisingly pretty immense, and to say that his Headphone Highlights selection is diverse would be an understatement.
