Pinning down C-Rock's artist C.V. might be like writing the history of house and techno in Germany. Growing up in Hanau, 20 miles east of Franktfurt am Main, young C quickly got attracted by the big city lights and the vices of nightlife - of course, only the musical vices. To put it in a nutshell, C-Rock became a DJ himself, founded one of the first and still the best German house fanzine 'size!' (together with Needs man and Academy teamster DJ Yannick) and eventually the labels Stir15 for deeper house affairs and Lofi Stereo for up tempo kick drums and minimal arrangements. His very first own productions appeared on the mighty Playhouse label in 1994 and since then he has countless recordings and remixes under his belt such as the critically acclaimed "Track & Feel" long player. C-Rock worked with Sven Vaeth, Luciano, Swayzak and Ricardo Villalobos, holds down a weekly residency at the infamous Cocoon club, played all around the world and recently turned heads around with his Motorcitysoul project. There's nothing this man can't fix 'cause he can do it in the mix..
