Rainer Truby and Michael Rutten go back a long way. As part of A Forest Mighty Black, Truby was involved in one of the first outfits whose music was released on Michael's legendary Compost imprint. Truby went on to form the Rainer Truby Trio and compile the excellent Glucklich series of compilations - all released on Compost - while the label has gone from strength to strength, evolving beyond it's nu-jazz pigeonhole with the launch of the more 'electronic' Compost Black. This DJ set - part of RBMA's coverage of the Garden Festival in Zadar - was performed and recorded live on a boat off the coast of Croatia. High on sunshine, this set sees Rainer and Michael doing what they do best - pulling out classic gem after classic gem and making people feel good!
