Punchestown Drunk Love

Ireland's Oxegen Festival had a new stage this year! This last weekend, Punchestown Racecourse saw a whole range of mind-blasting music, as the Academy brought its own tent to Oxegen including multi-media screens, bespoke sound system and some of the most interesting acts around, such as Telepathe, Of Montreal, M83, and the Casio Kids.

Among big names like Chloé, David Holmes, Florence And The Machine, and bow’s unlikely chart topper Tinchy Stryder, there were several home grown Irish acts like Jape, the 202's, Messiah J And The Expert, and RSAG, who also bumped shoulders with Academy alumni Onra, GoldieLocks, Tuki, and Mano Le Tough and Rory D… definitely a favourite for the summer!

Red Bull Music Academy Radio was down the front with the flash recorders to bring you all the sets and the atmosphere. Here's the first few recordings, including everything from the Casio Kids' afro-fuelled freak pop to hard-hitting techno courtesy of Kill The DJ's first lady, Chloé.
