Radio Radius

You would think that a big city like Zürich could do with a well run radio station. And, actually, you wouldn’t be alone in thinking that, which is why a lot of people rejoiced when Radio Radius got their own FM frequency. A true DIY project of students of the University Of Arts, this is radio free of commercial pressures. Red Bull Music Academy Radio is proud to air shows on Radio Radius, but, alas, from time to time they have to switch off their FM broadcasts (the airwaves being the most crowded anywhere in the world) – so we’ll have to see if, in times without FM Radio Radius, the city will once again be voted the city with the best quality of life. If so, it’s probably because people sought refuge on their webstream.
