Apart from a knack for reckless driving, some of Barcelona’s cab drivers have great taste in music, so that driving through the city (and seeing that we’re talking about the home of Sónar and Primavera, not to mention the all around pleasant atmosphere there should be plenty of reasons to do this every now and then), chances are they’ll be tuned in to Scanner FM. Hurtling towards red lights, you’ll be soaking in a mix of music as varied and fresh as it gets. During the 2008 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy, RBMA Radio and Scanner FM joined forces for live broadcasts straight from the Academy, be sure to check our archives for some of the gems from that time. Not content with letting this be a one-off collaboration, there is now a daily Red Bull Music Academy Radio show on Scanner FM.
