Radio Student

Radio Student looks back on a proud history as one of the oldest and biggest non commercial radio stations in Europe. It started operations in 1969 at the University of Ljubljana, where it was founded by the Association of Students. To this day it remains a non-profit organization, providing the urban community with a radio programme that covers diverse cultural & social topics. Its music editors take an equally independent minded approach, refusing to follow the trends of the mainstream and looking for fresh ideas wherever they crop up. Thus, Student presents the cream of the crop through post hard-core, techno, hip hop, blues, jazz, world music, experimental and contemporary music.
