This festival's dedication to electronic music goes beyond most others - rumour has it they'll be issuing microchips instead of tickets next year. Despite being a relatively young festival on the calendar, it's made a big impact with it's mixture of music, workshops, screenings, and general investigations into new cultural hybrids. In fact, this collective of festival organisers have made it a matter of principal to improve on each year. Taking the three-day musical extravaganza to four days is step one, while scouring the great and the good in electronic music is the second. While the festival might be created in honour of the machines, they don't forget that the adventure into technology is essentially a human one. Their line-ups consistently feature the cream of the new crop year in year out, as well as plenty of original electronic pioneers. Reboot and do the robot.
