Movement Torino

The European edition of Detroit's Movement Festival has been running since 2006, set up by Movement founder and Motor City techno Ambassador Derrick May. It's a way to spread not only the history and ethos of techno, but also a way to put today's electronic artists into perspective, and elucidate the long lineage of the techno continuum. The Movement take-over shows no signs of stopping, with outposts already established in Spain and Asia too. The 2009 edition in Torino saw over 15.000 attendees tune in and drop out for what has already been awarded Europe's Best Indoor Halloween Festival. Leave your mask at home, and experience the full horror of deep, dark, driving techno, taking you straight into the abyss.
