FM4

Ask anyone with a grain of taste who’s ever been to Austria (or close enough to catch those FM airwaves carrying sounds and thoughts across borders), and they’ll mention FM4 as an outstanding example for what radio can be. Since its inception in 1994, FM4 has been successful in creating an environment that allows alternative ideas and music styles to flourish on the airwaves. Also, FM4 isn’t scared of acknowledging their listener’s intelligence, broadcasting in German, English and French and doing away with clumsy translations and awkward voiceovers – so when they interview Jeff Mao you actually get to hear the words straight from the Chairman’s mouth. We’re very proud that, amongst all this, you will be able to catch selected shows from Red Bull Music Academy Radio studios, as well.
