Something is happening down Harrington Street in Cape Town. This 2.000 capacity club has been bubbling now for a while, repping raw underground sounds of global and local electronic party animals and rock stars in the making. In today's fractured music scene, a band or DJ can step up and reference anything from discogore to krunk rock, and a whole lot more inbetween, and The Assembly is perfectly placed to represent the cross section. Regular clubnight Discotheque bringing OGs like Academy alumnus Richard The Third, The Toxic Avenger, and Marcus Wormstorm to the dance, makes sure their finger is on the electronic pulse, while plenty bands bring the live sounds.
