Inside Out Dominican Republic 
Santo Domingan broadcaster Radio Listin has been nurturing the many scenes located along the Ozama River since 1972, and they have woven themselves deep into the resilient independent spirit of the Dominican Republic's music lovers. Our weekly show is hosted by Dominican-Colombian singer Auro Sónico, who has already brought plenty of noise to the airwaves with his band of intergalactic rockers Auro & Clemt. Auro blends together a mixture of hip hop, electronic, pop, rock and reggae combined with plenty of Caribbean and South American music like cumbia, merengue, tango, and son. Auro will be dragging Radio Listin's young listeners up by the boot straps every Friday with music from both forward-looking mavericks and original pioneers. Mixing local artists with international acts in a way that emphasizes the universal language, the show will also cherry-pick archives and showcases of local Santo Domingo artists. Aural gold!
