The Voodoo Music Experience

The Voodoo Experience began in 1999 as a single-day two-stage festival featuring the kind of artists that are just too big to fit inside your usual conference centre or stadium. From the get-go, the Voodoo Experience proved they weren't playing with artists like George Clinton, Dr John, and The Roots sharing the same bill, and since then the festival has grown to its current size of seven stages over three days, bringing in some of the biggest names in music from all round the world. Traditionally taking place over Halloween weekend, Voodoo has become the meeting place for all kinds of freaky monsters, apocalyptic rockers, and late night devils to gather in New Orleans and practise their hocus-pocus.
