The Garden

The Garden

A boutique festival in the truest sense of the word, if we have ever seen one, The Garden Festival is limited to a capacity of 2.000 ticket holders (but extended over two weekends). Initially starting out in Zadar, the festival has moved on to the peninsular village Petrcane nearby that looks a bit like a holiday paradise with a dancefloor terrace overlooking the sea, lots of pines and even the occasional boat party ride. Music-wise you get the best of soulful dance music from reggae to disco with kudos to British taste: Norman Jay, Mr Scruff, Greg Wilson, Faze Action, Jose James have been on the bill as well as Maurice Fulton, the Innervisions posse, Prins Thomas, Todd Terje or Benji B. You can already find 'Main Stage' recordings from Mark de Clive Lowe, Mr Scruff, Greg Wilson, Trojan Sound System or Crazy P on Red Bull Music Academy Radio - and there’s much more to come from this Garden without leading you up its path.

July 4 - July 11, 2012
