Watergate  

If there is something Berlin has plenty of next to the more-than-welcome tourists from all over the world, it’s clubs. Watergate, situated right next to the pretty Oberbaumbrücke and logically the river Spree, it spreads out over two floors and an ambitious booking schedule. Starting out with a mixed programme and a focus on drum ’n’ bass, the club soon got sucked into Berlin’s leading four-to-the-floor vibe and its open-all-hours ethic. Split into a main floor with an often imitated but never duplicated LED ceiling and its a bit more laid-back counterpart named 'Waterfloor' with a beautiful sight on the river, it now hosts three nights a week with the paramount DJs and live acts that electronic music has to offer: from the big boys like Sven Väth, James Holden, Tiefschwarz or the M_nus crew, to residents and recurrent guests like MyMy, Sebo K., Tom Clark, Zander VT, Cassy, Dinky and one-off shindigs with LTJ Bukem, Hot Chip or 2ManyDJs. A premier party place that also hosts Red Bull Music Academy Workshop Sessions as well as being a supplier for our dancer’s delight 'On The Floor!' specials.
