Pratersauna  

Pratersauna is the daddy of all sweat boxes - having earnt itself a reputation for the finest in health and wellness as a bonafide sauna and old-school Viennese institution up until closing at the end of 2008, it's re-opened to cater for a whole different kind of toxin-purging, rejuvenating crowd. Surrounded by fresh air and the idyllic Prater greenery, this minimal space has kept back just the finest elements to aid those eternal ravehearts in dispelling the weeks monotony and routine with plenty of good ol' fashioned dancing. The combination of outdoor swimming pool freshness, and dark indoor rave scenes, has put Pratersauna on the map as one of Vienna's essential nightlife hotspots, nevermind the moonlanding designer toilets. Red Bull Music Academy Radio has set up a nice little recorder to pick up all the best bits of their mixture of the deepest house, techno, disco, boogie and beats. Sauna, so good!
